Hello.
I have a six-month-old 2004 Sentra 1.8 S, and the clutch is making a wierd squeeky sound when I release it... it sounds like a spring uncoiling... I'm just wondering if anyone's experience this here and if they had to do any major repairs... I can't imagine that I've burned the clutch on a brand new car (I'm actually a very careful driver), so I'm curious. In any case, I'm taking it in to the dealer on Wednesday morning to check it out, but I wanted to see what other people have experienced. From what I gather, it'll just need to be greased or something, but to be honest I don't know much about cars...
That's right, I'm a dude who doesn't know much about cars... but at least I know sports and politics!
Thanks.
Mike is right, my pedal squeeks too. I'm sure the dealer will try to grease it up for you or something. It can get annoying after a while, I got rid of the squeek for a while then it came back. You may want to ask them what they do so that you can do it yourself next time.
i had the same shit, its actually the clutch lever that is pushed by the pedal, just go to the dealer and ask them to lubircate it, i did the same and i never had the problem again.
