Newbie questions

Hey you gusy probaly get this alot, i tried doing some searches not much came up that will help me, well actually my friend just got a 2004 1.8s sentra, he really dosent know a whole lot about cars so i was wondering if you guys could give me some facts about them so i can underdstand them alittle better, like is the 1.8s the same as the b15? ext. and i had a few questions like is there any sites that you can get parts from? i dont need tips on how to tuen ive read that thread already but i havent seen any sites that sell parts if you guys know any that would be great, i come from a mustang forum i have a 93 5.0, im used to having sites that sell parts just for my car, so this whole import thing and getting parts is kinda new to me, im just trying to help out my friend, o and dont worry hes not going to rice it up or anything, i know how u guys feel when you see posts like these cause i see them all the time in the mustang forums but i just see them as a new brother that has joined our car group so any help would be great thanks

all sentras that are model years2000-2005 are B15's... that is the chassis code, so yes your bud drives a b15, as for sites, just search google for b15 ir sentra etc.. there is a lot available out there...

ok thanks, i thought b15 was the engine or something like rx7's but there is alot out there? i havent seen anything but thanks ill try searching

hey i was wondering can u do engine swaps? like people with integs and civic do engine swaps all the time dont they? just my imagination going here but is there any way to upgrade his 1.8 without only doing exhaust, intake, cam pullley and the 3 other things u can do to it

well, at one time b15 could have the 1.8 you havr, the sr20de(good modability!) or the qr25(in the ser and specv, poor reliability for some, though i have NO probs) so engine swaps are possible
and thats just the ones that came in them stock at some point... therte are other possibilities if you have $$$

engine swap will run a minimum of $5k.

www.mdhall.com read around everywhere on there, and yes, search.............because you must not have used the right keywords...every question you could possibly have can easily be found
