Ok... so after much debate about what to do get a fast 2003 Sentra GXE I've decided to do a turbo application to my 03 GXE. I wont be able to turbo my car until the summer of 05 :-/ but I do have some cash built up to start prepping my car for the project. So I have some questions about bolt on parts that will work once I put a Turbo application in. I want to do Hotshot headers, a stillen intake, an unorthodox racing pulley, a short throw shifter (pacesetter, B&M?), HKS catback exhaust, a beefed clutch, as some handling goodies such as Eibach sport springs... my question is this, will I have to replace the intake and exhaust when I turbo my ride? MY other question is can anyone recomend a good short shift kit for me? I've been looking around the forums and see QG18's with ss kits but on websites I dont see availability for 2000+ sentra kit... is the shifter designed for an older model and fits the new QG?
To sum up... I'd really like to know how to maximize all the parts I can put on for performance and handling (1500$ budget) before I turbo the car NEXT summer.
I was going to just PM mike (:-D) but I thought other newbies like myself should have the benefit of hearing my situation.
You'll be replacing that header (not headerS, an inline engine only has one) with a turbo manifold next summer. I'm sure you already knew this, but if not then it's a good thing you've got a year to research turbocharging before you start in on a boost project cuz you need to. I'm not talking trash, just sayin that turboing isn't something you want to go into without knowing a lot about it. Good luck man!

Ok so I guess my next question what kind of short shifter should I use. And does B&M or Pacesetter make a SS kit for a QG18 or will one from an older model work? Hmmm.. so I guess most of the work I do in the meantime will be suspension, wheels/tires, clutch, flywheel, and unorthodox underdrive pulley.
