Exclamation Aftermarket tachometer for 04 1.8

Hi,
I am planning to install an aftermarket tachometer for my 2004 Sentra 1.8. The one thing I miss in this car (other than the intermittent wipers!). After some searching I could find just two brands for this: "Auto Meter" and "AC Autotechnic". Are there any more choices ? Which ones are more suited to the Sentra ?

Thanks.
Anand

You mean I cannot connect it to the sentra electronic ignition? I plean to give the tach to the mechanic and have him install it anyway. Won't that work ?

you'll need a tach adapter. I think autometer is the company that makes it for the direct ignition systems. Then it should work and he should be able to do it

haha, damn i miss intermitent wipers. it drizzles ALOT here in new england, and leaving them on is annoying. most of the time, i just act like a loser, count to five, click em on then off, pretending i still have them D:

and yea, if you find a small(er) easy to mount tach, please tell me
i want a BASIC tach, no shiftlights/highest RPM recorded/resetbutton for previous.
just a small, basic tach lol
i dont think anyone makes one D:
curious, how much is that tach adapter, i didnt find a price on that website (only half the page would load for me)

03SentraXE:Autometer has a range of small tachs (I don't work for autometer. Just surfing their site): http://hp.autometer.com/products/aut...ount_tach.html
Thanks chimmike. Now I have to hunt for the best deals on the web :-)

Will these work on a 2000 Sentra XE? I got some cheapo one off of eBay, and figured it would work. Now, reading into it on this website, it seems like it is much harder than I expected it to be.
