ECU Problems

I need to knwo where to reset the ECU on the QG18DE engine 2000 nissan sentra 1.8lt. I have installed a bad module from e-bay and my car is messed up now.

You might have to go to the dealer and get the ECU reset, or just leave the battery disconnected for a day or so. I'm not sure if this works with the newer cars anymore. Also, take out the chip and maybe the ECU will "relearn" itself and go back to normal settings.

if you leave the battery disconnected for 15-20 mins that should be plenty.

I havre tried to disconnect the battery but it didn't help. I have also tried to reset the sensor and it didn't work either. So I will have to take it to the dealer I guess. Thanks for the info.

what, does the CEL go off, then after a little while come back on?
