QG JWT Cams

Okay guys we really need to get your input.

Simple question.

If we could get the cams made by JWT would you as QG owners buy them?

there will be no ECU upgrade for QGs for a LONG time....and when it does come....most likely for FI.

I'd be interested if I knew the cost...........

When an available ECU does come around, it'll most likely be for NA applications actually. Since more people have NA QG18DE's it'd be alot smarter business wise to do it this way. They can always work on turbo cars later.

As far as power gains, it's most likely going to be pretty close to what the GA16DE put out with cams, minus a JWT ECU of course....

whats the update on this since the idea and petition has been around for awhile.

-on a side note...I thought that back when the qg18de came out that JWT had started R&D, but left off after the qr25de came out. So is this true, and if so, how much time left do they need? Or were they just blowing smoke up our asses before and hadnt really started R&D, or rumor central once again?

No thats not it. It's just they're focusing on the Spec-V still. Now they're building the turbo for it. QG18DE people haven't shown that they want this stuff yet. So the aftermarket hasn't built much yet for this model engine.

I don't think that its that we don't want this stuff per say, but it seems that half the qq population are college kids that can't afford it, so the rest of us try to make a futile effort to make something happen in the way of these petitions. I am not slamming JWT at all, and i don't want anybody to think that i am, it's just i guess i am venting my frustrations out a little here from the lack of further qg aftermarket support. After i put the header on, that is bout it as far as normal bolt ons until i hit the tranny. I want to test this whole theory about the sr20 flywheel. But all in all, i would really like to see these cams made for us. oh well thanks for listening to the biatching

Past results from JWT should speak for themselves..... Since no one seems to even want to vote it will be hard to convince them there is a market. JWT is watching this poll, so I would suggest you have all your QG friends vote.
