I just cut mine out and replaced it with a glass pack to mellow down the
tone. I have hotshot header with 2" crush bends and a O2 simulator from O2simulator.com 30 bucks it works follow direction carefully. No check engine light here and better flowing exhaust.

that glasspack will crap out in 3 months. Get a big, and I mean, BIG magnaflow resonator. it'll last longer and quiet it down more.

Yeah I know this is my second one I would get a magnaflow magnapack resonator but the car is too low and the 4 inch diameter will hit. The cherry bomb already scraps somewhat. I have another one sitting in the garage now for the next time. I have some hook ups at a muffler shop that charges me cheap to put it on. I am going to try to get a hold of bullet performance resonator. bulletperformance.com under 3" mufflers. stainless steel also.
or modernperformance.com has some also.
