Manual Transmission filter?

Ive got a 2002 Sentra 1.8 with a 5spd manual trans. Is there a transmission oil filter that needs to be changed along with the transmission oil?

Not normally on a manual transmission.
why are you changing the Oil ?
Make sure you use the correct oil.....I know this sounds obvious but the wrong oil will cause shifting problems.

Just checked by a search and it looks like you can use Redline MT90 same as the B14.
this is what i used on my B16 GA and SR20 cars
This is a synthetic GL-4 with the correct viscosity and friction additives for a manual syncro gearbox.

I was going to just use 75W-90 synthetic gear oil like Ive always used on other vehicles. Any reason not to use this on my sentra?
