I have a 1998 Nissan Sentra GXe. the engine light will not go out and the brake light and the
battery light come on simultaneously and randomly when I am driving for a fe minutes then they go out. I had a diagnostic test and it said small evap leak P1448 vent control and the solenoid and valve was tested and it said solenoid does not operate. I was told to order a
part from Nissan 14933-3M200 which said Valve-Assy-cont. I followed the instructions of the mechanic and after he installed the part the engine light went back on in a short time. So I have spend several hundred $$$ and my car is still not ready for inspection. Could it perhaps be simply a loose wire?

Has anyone experienced this problem and how to solve it. I am extremely frustrated at this point.
