yungyeh NissanForums Newbie Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 1	P0420 and P0430 I have a 2000 Nissan Sentra GXE. My Service Engine Soon light was on recently. I got reading the code with ODBII scanner and it gives P0420 and P0430 codes. I looked up the meaning of the codes and I found out P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) P0430 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2) I don't think my cat converter is bad because I had it replaced one year ago (by Nissan Dealer). Someone suggested that I should change the rear (downstream) two oxygen sensors and I did it myself. I erased the codes and the light got back on after driving about 40 miles. This time the code are read P0420, P420pd, and P0430pd. Can anyone tell me does that mean I should change two front (upstream) oxygen sensors as well? Thanks for helps.
