Gas pedal sticks after ideling

2000 Sentra. 5 Speed. Gas pedal sticks after idling but if I turn the engine off the problem disappears. So it would appear not to be a mechanical issue.

throttle linkage sticking? you need to confirm that its not mechanical by looking at the cable while its running
