Biger filter

I don't know if anyone else has started to us the oil filter off an 2000 altma I-4. I like it, little longer. Works fine on the 1.8

bigger filter doesn't mean better. I'd highly recommend going to stock size and picking up a double guard FRAM or something..................................I don't think it's wise to do what you did.

i dont like FRAM filters, they dont have the anti drain back valve. when i compared the FRAM to the OEM, it had more start up clatter from the valvetrain than the OEM.

I like the FRAM on my car now................at least it beats what my local dealer was using ( some no name brand

Why? Been like this for 40,000 miles. More capacity won't hurt. No clatter with wix
