Service Engine Soon Light

After meineke installed my exhaust system, about 20 minutes after I left, I ended up with a SES light. I called them up and they said its normal and I'll have to get a SES/CEL eliminator. Is this correct or did they do something wrong? Keep in mind I have the CAI,Racing Header, and the cat-back exhaust.

is your model a 1.8L? if so, there are 4 o2 sensors before and after the catalyic converter. 2 before and 2 after the first cat conv. thats where the sensor mod goes after the cat.

Incorrect. I've never seen a 1.8 that didn't have four O2 sensors. I've got four on mine and i'm not from Cali

my sis n law has one 2 o2 just because your not from cali doesnt mean that its not a california make--for example im not from california yet i have a california make but my sister n law doesnt have a california make---easiest way to check is if you have 2 catalitic converters 1 pre 1 aft = california make

Like I said...None of the information provided with my car says anything about being California make. VIN included.

All the people with 1.8s that i've ever met had four O2. None were purchased from the same area or even the same state. What I guess i'm saying, is that i'd have to see it to believe it.

This may sound weird, but I would appreciate that. I like to have as much information as possible.

mines a 2k sentra and the 00-03 models have 4 o2's. Your 1.8S is a more up to date QG18de. I have not looked under the hood of a 04-06 1.8, but i know Nissan loves to redo their old work.
