I posted earlier about my 1.8s sounding like a dirt bike. I've begun to worry that maybe there is something wrong with my exhaust that makes it sound that way. At somewhere between 3 and 4K rpms, it makes a crackidy kind of sound. I don't know how to describe it other than that it sounds like a 2-cycle dirtbike. Does anyone else have this problem?

also, I have some serious rattle around the spot where the seatbelt comes from on the passenger side. If i push on it fairly hard, it goes away. Any suggestions?

you might have a small hole in your exhaust or it may be leaking around the gasket
