i have a 2006 sentra im going to put a sr20 in it. any tips or parts for sale?????????? i can use all the i can get!!!!
tips? ummm, don't bother? lol
why would you buy a brand new car, and then want to swap something else into it? you really should have thought about your goals before you bought this car. to do it right, it's going to be very expensive, and IMO the gains will not be worth the money. my advice would be to get a new car with a motor that you're happy with. but if you're going to go through with this, i hope you have some cash were you planning on swapping a DET in, or just a regular sr20?
the stock one that came in my car, roller rocker sr20. for the 1.8, i'd recommend bolt ons and a 50 shot. i'd probably stay away from the turbo aspect. there are people that have done it though. but i don't think i've seen a 1.8 b15 get over the 200hp mark
no, i have a 2.0, hence the sr20, lol. the SE's came with the sr20de.
i have a nice little turbo setup on there. it's currently in the shop getting some new stuff
ok i might soud stupid and if so please forgive me but what is a b15 sentra? and if your stock motor was a sr20 then it should be easy to put one in mine maybe change the motor mounts a bit.....
a b15 is a 2000-2006 nissan sentra. and for a swap, you'll need plenty more than motor mounts.
here is a thread a friend of mine made for installing the DET. if you're going to do a swap, pointless to install an NA sr20de, might as well do the DET HOW-TO: SR20DET (GTiR) into B15 QG (QG18DE) - b15sentra.net forums
you have a lot of research to do, have fun

the SE was made in 2000-2001, so you would be able to get either of those years. i mean, if you really want to, go for it.
but swapping a 5 speed into your 1.8 really isn't going to do you much good. if i were you i'd probably get the car paid off and get something that i was happy with out of the box. sucks you bought this and now you're not happy
alright. im thinkin about throwin in the sr20det into my 02 spec v. i was wondering if the 02 spec v tranny will bolt up to the sr20det. any help here is much appreciated
just turbo your spec, the engine is bigger anyway and the turbo setup with install will most likely run you less than the engine swap and yield better gains.
