Fuel Gauge problem.

Ho everyone I just Bought a new 2006 Nissan Sentra. They filled it up with gas at the dealer and since then (yesterday) I have put about 40 miles on it. Problem is my Fuel gauge has not decreased at all. So I am guessing it is stuck. Do any of you know if they use a sensor or a float to determine the fuel level in these cars? I havent had any luck finding the info online.
I am going to take it the dealer anyway but I would like to know my self just in case they try and bull shit me.

the lever is located under your rear seat. but my gas gauge doesn't usually move much at all until i get about 90 miles out or so. you can always pop off the back seat and open the gas tank and see if the lever is stuck, but i'd probably give it a few more miles first

Yeah it's a Sentra manufactured in Mexico, something will always go wrong.
