Hey guys am i d only one with a QG18 DE on a bluebird-U14 LeGrand(2000). Well i read ur post on the thermostat only after i changed the old one&ordered the original Nissan. No wonder i feel like my engines too hott too fast. No wonder my radiator sprung a leak, cuz i'm from down in d Caribbean.
Anywayz i'm planning to replace the original air filter&snap in a K&N filter by adding a bracket mounted directly to the sensor&mounting the K&N cone filter directly. I don't wanna use any piping cuz i'll have to do some moving off the batteries to make way for an 18" aluminum pipe.
But since the original airfilter compartment is behind my battery,im wondering if placing a new cone filter without the original compartment taht has a plastic tubing taht reaches near my headlights. WOuld suck in hot air instead???

Anywayz any help would be appreciated, reply if i didn confuse!!!http://www.nissanforums.com/images/smilies/loser.gif

Cuz i got little time&need my ride workin,to hit the highway each day.
