Engine shuts down during hard braking
Ok, so I'm traveling down I-40, leaving RDU Airport. Going East at about 70mph. Some guy comes down the on-ramp, into the lane next to me. I'm in the far left, and he goes to the middle. After a while, he cuts into my lane. I hit the brakes, not slammed, but harder than usual, and the motor cuts. Why? Had to pull the E-brake, and work the car over to the center median.
It's not supposed to cut off, like this, right? Like I said, I didn't slam on the brakes, just hit them a bit harder than normal, to avoid this moron. No CEL, or anything, just dies. What gives? Never had any problems with this car before.
Thanks.
