After a few hours of freeway driving (average speed 80mph) I pulled into a fast food place, then when i was leaving my car had very little power. It would only go up to about 30mph in drive. After refilling with gas it could only reach about 4.5k rpm and about 45 mph. Now, after its been towed home, it only revs to 4,500 in neutral. Mods wise i have a CAI and aftermarket muffler. Its an automatic. If anyone knows what this could be please let me know, Im taking it to nissan tuesday. Tempeture gauge was fine, coolant and oil levels good.
Were you able to replace this yourself or did you have it done? How much did it cost you to replace?
It's not difficult to replace at all. It's part of your intake plenum. That box looking thing on your CAI that has the wires connected to it. Go buy one from a junkyard and replace it
Was a warranty replacement, so I just had the car towed to the dealership. Took them a week to finish, cause they had to order a new MAF. Although, like TeKKiE said, it can be done yourself.

I could try to go get another MAF sensor, but i have a hotshot CAI, i know where the sensor is, but how sure are you that its the MAF that is causing this problem?
get a OBD2 scanner.. make sure its the code for the MAF sensor.. and if it is.. replace it.. if its not.. i dunno usually you cant go past 2.5k rmps on a blown MAF..
