Please do not club me, I swear I searched the posts. I have a 2005 Sentra special edition with the rockford audio package. I want to get a satellite radio and I did read on this forum that remaining hardwired is the way to go. The manual does not specify if the car is prewired for sat radio or not, it just lists the options on the deck for sat with (if equipped) written next to it. The question I have is, how do I know if my vehicle is prewired so that all I need is the tuner and service from a provider. I read a similar post that talked about the 2006 models, but Im not sure if it applies to my car. I do have a CAT button where the mute button would go. I really appreciate any help I can get.

Open the driver-side door, and look at the labels posted there. It's above the label that lists your VIN, color code, etc. There's a label there that will say that the car is prewired.
