you do realize the special edition has the same motor as the 1.8's?

Nissan Sentra (2006 All 1.8L) - F5 Fujita Cold Air Intake System (Polished)

Hotshot makes an intake for it as well
Weapon R..<<< but nobody likes to talk about them
and someone else? anyone can help me out here... i no longer have a QG powered car so stopped keeping up with stuff for the QG

but ya any intake made for the QG18 will fit your car there bub

I would recommend Hotshot CAI, i've been a proud buyer from them. You will have to do some cutting to enlarge a hole and take the driver wheel wheel off. Other than that its an easy install.

Ok, i talked to the technicians at hotshot.com.

They said the CAI will not work for the 06 model, and to wait for them to get a test car, because most likely they will make it.

Header wise, they are pretty sure the header will work for the 06.

Are there any other intakes i can use???

I wouldnt recommend a CAI unless its a full race car application. Get a short ram or a Jim Wolf Technologies Pop Charger. That way, when it rains you wont have to take your filter off and clean it because you ran through a puddle and splashed water on it. On that note, i think the JWT pop charger is somewhat universal, but i would ask them for input first.

The intake from hotshot will work. If you search most everyone with a 1.8 has a hotshot intake. Its under the 01 sentra. If you want the part number ill give it too you.

Does someone not wanna get dirty? You gain more from a CAI then a pop charger.

w3rd... if your spending the money on an intake at all. Might as well go a full CAI. Power gains are barely noticible on a pop charger or a Short ram
