I hear water running!!

I know this sounds silly, but when I get in my car (usually in the morning) as I am making a turn, I hear water (antifreeze I would imagine) sloshing around in the area behind my dash. There are no signs of leaks inside or outside the car. Is it normal for it to be making this noise? If so, please explain why. I haven't heard this in any of the cars I've ever owned.

Is your coolant full? Could be an air bubble...sometimes sounds like a "waterfall" when you step on the gas.

try to bleed the coolant system out. raise the front of the vehicle about two or three feet and let it run with the cap off the radiator.... after a while all of the air should make its way out, then refill it... heater cores are bad about trapping air because of their location and the enter/exit hoses to it...

it does dound like you have an air pocket in your cooling system --

easiest way to get the air bubble out is.... make sure coolant resevior is to max fill line

with car at operating tempature... turn the heater on full heat and fan speed 1.... then put car in first gear { back road } and get your engine RPM up to around 3500 to 4000 RPM-- keep the RPM up for at least 45 seconds in gear.

the air bubble will be forced out the radiator into the coolant resevoir..

hope this works for you... has worked for me many times
