Jumpy Tachometer

I have a 2002 Sentra, that has a really jumpy tach, I took it into a dealer and they told me it was the instrument pannel. I can feel the engine jump with the tach while driving it. Has anyone had the same problem??

i had a similar problem wit my b13... it was a faulty tach. I had to replace it. I sourced one from a bone yard.

Yes, Same Problem

I am having the exact same problem, mine starts good though. I am really frustrated because it keeps throwing the crank sensor code, It has been replaced 4 times and it keeps coming back on. You can get your money back for the recall of the sensors, I called and talked to Nissan, and they gave me a file # and I faxed them the information they requested. I should have my check in about 4 to 6 weeks.

I have another appointment to take it in to a dealer shop to have it looked at, I will let you know what they come up with...
