alot of companies make dual tip mufflers. or you can opt for the spec v muffler. i dont believe that their is a cat back system for the car that contains a dual tip muffler, but you can always buy a universal muffler and have a muffler shop attach it for you. my personal preference is this one

just pick up a nice 2" inlet Magnaflow muffler of your choice. Have a shop weld it on.

2" does not equal 2.25".... theres a difference. especially you having a 1.8 engine. Your car isnt loud to begin with ... so it wont be much louder, with that muffler. It will just have a deeper tone

you would want to get a 2 inch inlet because that would be the closest to what you have on your car car. also it wont be loud persay, becasue you dont have a full exhaust(Cat back) you will only have the muffler. you can definately expect a change in the sound, but nothing to drastic. if anything it will be a low rumble.

for your car in particular... none, actually its a disadvantage performance wise.

wait do you mean a dual tip? or actual two seperate pipes?

seperate pipes were meant for V block engines... dual tips is merely for looks

you can, im not saying dont. Theres civics with 3 inch fart cans... your still using the stock catback piping right? if so then it really doesnt matters whats at the end of it... if performance isnt really an issue.

Or you could just put a tip on there instead of getting a whole new muffler. I had to cut a few inches off of the stock muffler tail pipe to fit this on, but this is how mine turned out.

question 1: Where did u go to get it welded?
question 2: Does it still sound like ur old muffler or does the sound change?
