Question Apexi SAFC II

http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/pric...(NEW_Version_2)
I was looking at this here, and found the safc for 300 which is pretty damn good in my opinion. But the question is, would it really be worth it for me to get one? I live in Iowa and their is NO dyno/tuning shop that I know of. I've looked many many countless times. So if im not able to dyno it to make sure I dont f ' my car up. Would it be worth it? Or could I just install it and maybe get like 1-2 hp, or would it be a waste of 300.??

BAM, your own mobile tuning setup

Sounds like a good plan. I'm thinkin that it wouldnt be cheap, I mean I would be paying 300 for 1-2hp, and for the LM-1 id get like 1-2 for how much?

And i'm just talkin, install and thats it. No tuning done whatsoever.

You can get used SAFC2s for 150 bucks and the original SAFC for like 100 or less. You will get more than 2 WHP.

you don't get any hp from the LM-1, it's a tuning tool. use it to tune the SAFC accurately.

So then that right there would be pointless in my case. But I still plan on getting the SAFC 2 but ill have to go out of state to tune it on a dyno.

do you plan to mod the car more than you are currently at? if so, you will need to get dyno tuned again. if you have local car buddies, all pitch in and buy a wideband. if you are done modding performance wise, then might as well go out of state for a bit and get dyno tuned.

All the people I know are domestic people. I've checked many places and none have dyno's around. I'm doing more than just the current mods to my car. I'm gonna do all I can to the engine before I buy a turbo setup. My family is moving to denver at beginning of next summer. Brother already lives there. There are many places there that have dynos' so ill be good there. How much would a wideband cost around..? I might as well get it now, if im going turbo later. Dont you think..?

SAFC2 may not be the ideal 'engine management', but you would have to ask someone who has turbocharged their QG...ex Mike
