Rancho RSX17000 for 01 Pathfinder

I've been trying to find Rancho replacement shocks for my 01 Pathfinder. Finally called Rancho, apparently, the only shocks they have listed for the 01 are the RSX17000 self adjusting shock and struts.

Anyone try these yet or have alternatives?

Bump i was also considering buying these for my truck, I don't know anyone who has them but I do know that Rancho has a great reputation, although i wish Bilstein made shocks to fit the truck

Ah, yes the great shock hunt.
I had hoped Bilstein made them, but no luck.
I ended up going with Monroe Reflex. Rancho's are made by the same company.

I did see the other day KYB now had part number for 01 and up. I probabaly would have went with them if I could have found them last year.

I have the Rancho 9000's on my 01. I've found the third setting to be perfect for daily driving.

I can't seem to find much feedback on these shocks, maybe I'll be the guinea pig on this one. I don't need anything fancy, just a good urban assault shock for jumping curbs.

Thought I'd do a follow up post regarding the Rancho RSX 17000 series shocks.

I purchased them for my 01 Pathfinder, got a good deal from these guys, Sams Off Road. If you buy a set of 4 shocks, shipping is free. Their set price of $207.92 was $50 cheaper than the next best price I found, plus shipping.

I drove on the new shocks for the weekend and first impression is they are a huge improvement over the OEM. When I removed the original rear shocks they were pretty wimpy, I could easily manipulate them by hand. The new shocks are much more firm but not harsh. The body lean in cornering is not as severe as with the original shocks.

So far, happy with the shocks and the good deal.

Here are the part numbers, I had to call Rancho to get them.
Front Struts: 17503, 17504
Rear Shocks: 17122

Do you have a 2wd Pathy? I have a 99 Pathfinder 2wd. Will the RSX17122 work?
