clunking noise

I have a 98 Pathy and I've had this clunking noise coming from the front passenger side of the car!

At first, I thought my struts were bad and had them replaced. After a few days of replacing it, the noise came back!

It's driving me crazy because I have no idea what it could be! CV joints?
Any thoughts to this?

Thanks

i'm in the same boat as you .. i have a '97 pathfinder and I'm getting the exact same noise. I jacked it up and everything looks fine though .. however the "dust covers", "bump stop covers" or whatever you'd like to call them were ripped into pieces. I have pictures about what I'm talking about but this website doesn't support them for some reason. I even brought it to Nissan when I had my oil changed, and told them about it. When they were finished, they said the noise is nothing big.. ?? I'm clueless.

So what happen? Is the noise still there? The dealership said it's nothing? The noise is so annoying! I feel like it's going to give and one day it will bottom out!
Can you send pictures to me if I give you my email?

Thanks

Clunking noise..

I have a 98 Pathfinder that is doing the same thing. I had the Struts replaced and the noise came back about 2 weeks later. I think it might be the Stabilizer Links
