k and n vs oem

k and n drop filter vs oem

i just changed my pinky air filter and my comparisons are...

the oem is thicker than k and n means restrictive but it may filter well
look at the filter against the light and with k and n you can see the light passing thru but not the oem. means k and n is not restrictive but it may not filter well that's the reason why maybe it's oiled so that the oil will trapped the dirt. potential problems other car company claimed that the oil will wet the sensor and it will cause sensor malfunction and k and n is aware of it and they said the factory oiled filter will not cause that it's when someone cleaned it and re oiled it someone may put so many oil so careful in re oiling. i will just buy a new one to make sure.
the fitment of k and n is a little bit tight you need to press it hardly compare to oem once you put it that's it.
i start the car and with k and n you can hear the intake sucking the air if you gas means more air flow compare to oem i can't hear anything. now it's time to disconnect my battery and re connect it to adapt to a new air/fuel mixture.
im not expecting a huge gains of hp/torque there maybe but not that big as claimed by others. but i will see how it will response.
