2005 Pathfinder Noise

Hello Everyone,

I recently purchased an '05 Pathfinder and some rattle noise is coming from behind the dash. This happens when the vehicle is in drive, brake depressed and the A/C being turned off. It happens often when when switching the A/C on to off.
I brought it in to the service dept and they had the dash apart for two days now and still can't find the problem.

Any suggestions and/or comments?

It could be a few things. It might be the vacuum flap for the vent direction, a bad compressor clutch, or maybe a check valve. They need to make sure the vacuum lines are all connected properly for the vents. That is the most likely suspect. Hope you get it back working quietly.
