Climate control blower runs constanty

My climate control blower is stuck on. I have a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder with the auto climate control. After returning home with the A\C on, I pressed the off button but the blower remained on. Now it runs constantly when the ignition is on. I can't change the blower speed (increase or decrease) or turn it off. It constantly runs on high.

I just had to have a sensor replaced on the car last week for $400, so I'd love to be able to fix this myself.

Any suggestions (the more detail the better) would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
Mike.

IIRC, that means the blower motor's resistor has died on you. It's under the dash somewhere on the passenger's side.

Thanks 88pathoffroad.

Can you provide a little more detail on what an IIRC is?

Also, I saw another thread from somewhere else indicating the Auto A\C system doesn't use a blower motor resistor, so it's most likely the A\C Auto amp? Is this what you were talking about?

Thanks again,
