Biggest tires on 01 LE Path

i have an 01 2WD LE Pathfinder.....i seen alot of threads pertaining to bigger tires but none really like this one.....i have stock 255 tires on there.....i have airbags going in and 20in rims with a width of 8.5".....the tire sizes for the 20in rims in 255 is rather shitty.....with lots of 35 series tires way too small for around where is live i was thinking at least 45 or 50 series tires....anyway if going bigger than 255 say 265 the tire sizes are much better.....real question is will tires bigger that 255 tuck in the wheel wells or am i gonna have to fork over some dough for the Toyos sized 255/50.........i have looked all online and cant really find a definative answer some tire place call for the option of 275 and 265 tires but will they clear the wheel wells...............thanks and sorry for the mess i cant do paragraphs...

I have 265 tires on stock 16in rims with stock suspension. I have not had a problem, even the spare 265 tucks in nicely down below.

Did you say you are putting airbag suspension in? Who did you buy it from and who will be installing? What is it called? I am very interested in adjustable air suspension.

Yes airbag kit is on the way....made by Chassis Tech....you can get the kit from airbagit.com....for the stage 3 kit which i got its 2,000......they are just waiting on the 1/2" valves on backorder....some of the airbag kits you see are just helper airbags that really do nothing but help under alot of load to keep the factory suspension from sagging...these kits are fully adjustable which i had the guy on the phone the other day he said that i drops about 6 inches all the way around..... i do all my work myself on the weekend....pretty crazy with it....

ill post pics when its done....to show dgmodel how its done.
