2005 with harsh wind flutter

The wind flutter happens at about 30 mph with the back seat windows down more than 3". Happens with both sides, flutter is so bad it acutally hurts your ears. Graduaally gets worse the faster you drive.

Any tips? I tried folding the mirrors in, but it did not fix it. I'll try moving the roof rack around tonight.

Same problem occured on my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Just crack the front windows slightly and it goes away. I bet many SUVs have the same thing.

My Escape (*current vehicle to be replaced by PF*) does not really do it.. BUT our Focus Wagon sure does.. WOW!!

Lower the fronts slightly.. makes all the difference.
