i'm new here and already think this is a great forum site, very informative. and of course, i have a problem. i have a 98 pathy. i was installing an aftermarket keyless entry unit. i was half way done, and decided to call it a night. when i was starting the vehicle, it wouldn't. no power windows, locks, wipers, or turn signals. everything else works. the idiot lights come on, and the odometer light blinks 16 times everytime i try to start it. i disconnected the wires i ran and still nothing. any ideas, i'm trying not to take to the dreaded dealership.

Go back and check all your fuse links, the are the big fuses with clear tops you might have blown one of them, or shorted a smart entrance control unit.
