Does anyone know how large the fuel reservoir is on a 97 Pathy? A number of times the needle has gotten down to just above the empty line, yet when I fill the most I've ever put in is 15 gallons. I know the tank is supposed to hold like 21.8 gallons, but this seems like a very large reserve to me. Is my gas gauge going?

Nope. It simply gives you plenty of leeway before it goes dry. The fuel pump needs to be cooled by the fuel, so running it completely out of gas is a Bad Thing To Do...the pump could overheat and die...not a cheap fix.
