Unhappy power shift problems on my 95 pathfinder

Ever since I had my timing belt replaced on my 1995 pathfinder, the power shift feature on my automatic transition hasn’t been working right. What seems to happen is that when the power shift automatically engages, it just locks in a gear and revs super high. the only way to disengage it is to flip the power shift switch on then off or take my foot of the gas for a few seconds, which is hard when im on the freeway. I ran the onboard diagnostic on my car, and I did not get any error codes for bad sensors on any thing. If any one has an ideas as to what is going on please help me out. thanks

Could be the tranny computer flaking out on you, you might need a tranny fluid change and an aftermarket cooler, or perhaps it just picked that time to start doing it. Who knows? It's usually a mystery until you take it all apart and see what really happened or what doesn't work anymore.
