hello,

i have a 1988 pathfinder. when i was installing a new radio, my dashboard lights went out except for the low fuel light and clock. i've tried everything (i think) but they still don't come on at all. any ideas are appreciated!

You probably used the factory lighting wire as a ground when you installed the new radio. It's a common mistake because, if the lights aren't turned on, the lighting wire acts like a ground. Change your ground to the cigarette lighter's ground, replace your dash light fuse and carry on! Hope this helps!
