'05 Pathy soft ride......

Does anyone with an '05 Pathy LE have really soft shocks/springs? It seems that it bottoms out really easily.

Does the SE off-road have better damping?

I have an LE and it does not have soft springs. What surface are you driving it on? Offroad?

Nope, regular roads.

Neither has mine. I think the LE has a very nicely controlled ride, without too much harshness or softness.

I'd get that checked out ASAP.

I too have an 05 Pathfinder LE and it bottoms out all of the time! I told the dealer about it but I have not taken them for a ride so that they could "feel" it. Under acceleration the back squats - looks like an old 280 ZX with shot shocks/springs - and it will bottom out with 4 people in it while driving over mild highway undulations. I looked under it and there is only a 1 inch gap between the bump stop and the frame mount. If you abruptly go from on-throttle to off-throttle while in a mildly tight curve the vehicle goes into an off power oversteer situation which could get interesting in the wet!
Let us know what the dealer does about it.
