Greetings all; looking for a little help.

My son's 85K miles PF wont start. He had the oil changed last tuesday, he said it was fine on Wednesday, then Thursday it wouldn't start. It just cranked away with no hint of firing.

I got it started using Starting Fluid sprayed into the air intake. Also added a bottle of HEET to the fuel tank(thought he may have had a frozen gas line; it was 10F) He had code P1491. Cleared the code and drove around a while; the SES/CEL came on again (same code) but the car seemed to be running fine. Could turn it off and restart it ...no problem.

Then yesterday it wouldn't start....had to use the starter fluid again. Same thing today...it wouldn't start without using starter fluid. Once the engine warms up though, I can shut it off and restart it no problem. Seems like if it sits too long, then it wont start on it's own.

Anyone have these symptoms or know if they are typical of P1491 code?? Or do I maybe have multiple things going on here?? Any advice would be appreciated...
