99 pathfinder warms up then dies

I have a 99 pathfinder giving me the OBD codes PO340 and PO325(cam position and knock sensor). ive also heard this could be a fuel pump problem or distributor problem. Ive checked the fuel system and thats functional. I also do not believe the knock sensor is the issue as there is no significant "knock" to the engine. im having difficulty locating both sensors though and could use some help. ive looked through many sources and keep getting conflicting info. the truck will turn over and start right up when cold but once its run for 15 mins or so it cuts off. i was also able to drive it for approx. 8 miles without any signs of malfunction. any help more than appreciated!!

Is it just me, or does the majority overlook the obvious?

Why do people continue to run a vehicle when a warning light comes on or starts flashing? Isn't that a clue that something is wrong and you probably should NOT drive it?
Is this whole car driving thing really freekin' brain surgery?

Here's something new for the crowd/clowns...

And if you can read this, you don't need glasses! :)

Alright...good luck with your problem
</sarcasm>

Pointing it out because a lot of people in the past have searched using the letter O instead of the number 0 and have gotten less than stellar results.
<sarcasm>
So keep surfing with that letter O in the search box...see how far you get.

You can have failed knock sensors without hearing a knock. Just did a dodge truck that gave knock sensor codes and ran perfect. Change both and clear the codes, and go from there.

I had a 92 Chevy that would fall flat on its face when up to temp. Was a bad EGR valve. Not sure if that helps but its an idea. When you physically touched it, it would die even before being warmed up.

I read up on P0340 but I have a VQ.
The VQ has problems with sensor failure, and there are cam sensors, crank sensors, three total.

So I would address that first as the knock sensor might be connected and just go away.
