Shuts off while driving

Hi, im new to this site! I just bought a 1998 Nissan pathfinder chilkoot 4x4 with manual transmission. It shuts off while driving and not sure what it could be, possibly fuel related. Many things have already been changed by the previous owner like the distributor cap and rotor with plugs. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks in advance

First thing to do is an ECU code readout to determine if there are any fault codes set which will help in your diagnosis.

KA-T for life, yo!

Narrowed down where the problem could be! Car wouldn't start so my dad was randomly tapping the engine with a wooden stick, he got to the (fuse box?) directly above the battery and the car started. Tapped it again it shut off. Tried starting it again and wouldn't start. It was turning over when my dad tapped the box again and the car started. Tapped it again and it shut off. Did this repeatedly so i found where the problem was!
