Question speedometer calibration

I have an 03 4wd SE and the speedometer is 5 mph off it says we are going faster than we are, is there any way to recalibrate it? We discovered this after using a tom tom gps and noticed the speed difference.

Is the tire size on your car smaller then OEM? If so, then the speedometer will read a faster than actual rate traveled. The faster the car goes, the further off the speedometer will be.

it has 255/65/16's which I believe is the stock size as the spare is this size and it does not appear to have ever been used.

Mine is exactly the same, about 5 mph fast around 60 - 70.
I went with 255/70/16 tires and it cut the error down to 2 - 3 mph and its correct at 30.
