flooding

hello i am new to the site and new to nissans. i just picked up an 87 pathfindr for a mud truck. it had been drowned in a beaver pond and ruined the ecu. it run fine before that now that i have a new computer in it when i turn the key it pours a crap load of fuel. if it doesnt start the first try it will accually fill the motor so much it wont turn over. if i pull the fuel pump relay i can get it to start then once i plug it back in it stalls the motor out. i had to pinch a pair of vice grips on the fuel line to slow the fuel down so i could get home. any ideas thanks. also it is a 3.0 v6 5-speed
