when i shift its like 2nd and 4th dont exist the shifter dosnt go in a slot so im stumped plz someone help me oww and reverse do i have to take the tranny off to fix this or not

Sounds like you need a rebuild or replacement trans. If there's no 2nd or 4th, something inside is likely shot, broken or misaligned to the point that it'll need removal at the very least to correct.
