How do you turn the A/c on on the new pathys(2000), my old one(98) had a nob you turned toward A/C . i put the temp all the way down and the air isnt cold... freon ?

Is the compressor turning on? what I mean is can you hear the compressor engaging when you press the A/C button? If yes, then it seems you're low on freon, but best to check for leaks before filling it up.

thats what my old one looked like with an A/C button this one doesnt have it, i guess you can call it climate conntrolled because you adjust the heat/AC by putting the temp all the way up or down but even when i put the temp all the way down cold air doesnt come out.. ill try to get a picture.. thanks

If you have one of the automatic climate control systems, then A/C *should* come on automatically, as long as you're in AUTO mode. A/C won't come on if you're in ECON mode (or OFF, obviously).

If it doesn't come on, then check off other possible causes. Is the A/C fuse good? Can you hear the relay click when you lower the temperature? Worst case, it could just be that your A/C needs recharging.
