I've been hearing alot about this sea foam stuff... I have a Pathfinder with a VG33 motor with a 190km on it, and I was thinking of using sea foam to clean the TB, but I wanted to make sure I know what I'm getting into b4 I did it, any ideas about S F if it's good for your car and ish?
Ran it through my 97 Explorer and felt like a new engine after it was done. Put it in the gas tank, sucked it in through a vaccum hose and put some in with the engine oil...

ive heard good and bad things about sea foam...so at the time i decided to put it in with my sr20det engine...it smoked for a good hour and a half out the exhaust and then it proceeded to weaken the engine as i drove it, to the point that i think it almost killed it, but when my neighbor put it in his sr20de sentra, it worked fine...so maybe it was me that killed my 2000 dollar engine with a 7 dollar bottle of sea foam
if you want to clean the throttle body just take off the intake tube an open the throttle body with your hand, and tith a rag and swrewdriver slean the throttle body and the plate while you spray inake cleaner in it. sea foam is really good but if you put it in the oil make sure you change it and if you put it in the gas tank make sure you follow the seam foam to gasoline ratio or you could burn valves
Haven't heard much about it but i know napa sells it out here so i think i'll pick up a bottle tomorrow on my lunch and try it out..

I said i would there for i have.. First i have a question, what method did everyone use? I poured 1/3 of the can in my intake, as directed, and the rest into my tank. I did get about 3-4 seconds off my 0-60(MPH) but next tank i'll try my 0-60 again. It also got rid of a little hesitation in my peddle. But it could just be a $10(CAD) of octane booster because it's a %100 pure petroleum product. and my 0-60 is nothing high-teck but i tried 3 runs before and 3 after the seafoam and they were consistent. my whole drive home i was paroniod that my truck was going to die because of Supergimp's Post..
Try it out, i plan on buying another can for my oil when it's almost time to change it.
