i recently installed a stainless steel Magnaflow muffler and stainless steel pipe all the way back on my '01 Pathfinder. Its quiet at idle, but has a nice roar when you get on it. I am pleased overall. Only $85 on summit.

Good luck.

If you like quiet, maybe a Walker muffler? Thrush is another good one, don't know if they're still on the market.

You have two mufflers....the $470 main muffler assy. (P/N: 20100-5W014) and the $285 post muffler (P/N: 20350-4W020). Which are you replacing or are you replacing both? Do you want it loud or quiet? If you just want it a little louder and you're replacing the post muffler, only, you could have an exhaust shop replace it with simply a pipe.
