OK, I can't seem to win. I fixed the fuel problem but now the rear passenger side seatbelt mechanism will not allow me to pull the seatbelt down. It is like the mechanism thinks the truck is braking and locking the belt. I even removed the lower portion (where the blet is bolted down inside the truck) thinking some slack would move the mechanism. Not. It goes in but does not come out. Any help will be useful. I cannot put in the kid seat for my 4yr old and now the wife and I swapped vehicles. E3

I had a similar problem with my 02 and took it back to the dealer even though I was off warranty. They fixed it for no charge saying it was part of the passive restraint system. Mine was the driver's belt.

Since you use a car seat, you probably already know this, but just in case: Let the belt go in ALL the way. The ratcheting should disengage, allowing you to smoothly pull it out again.

My Nissan warranty booklet says the restraint system is under warranty for the life of the car. Your's probably says the same thing.
