DAQ-96 pthfndr engine id vg33 vs vg33e??

I've got a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder xe 4x4. I know it's a 3.3l motor. Two weeks ago the cam seized (really don't want to get into why...was wifes car, she never checked oil, was dry when she called me that truck stopped working). I found a replacement motor from a 1996 Nissan 2wd with less than 40k miles (mine had about triple that). I called the local nissan dealer and they told me that as long as it is from a 1996 and automatic...no problem.
It's costing me $300 just for shipping for this motor so I want to make absolutely sure that it's correct. Otherwise it's going to cost me an additional $300 to send it back for refund.
I'm being told that it's a vg33 which is what I believe mine is as well, but as I research I keep seeing vg33e....Can anybody explain the difference. Really just waiting on this answer to order motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They're all the exact same. There's no such thing as a "VG33", they're all VG33E's. Some people simply abbreviate it.
