Coolant level sensor?

Hi all,
Does anybody know if an 02 Pathfinder SE would have a coolant level sensor in the resevoir tank? My SES light was on for three weeks. I ordered a scan tool online but it hasn't arrived yet. Today I thought I'd just ad a little coolant after checking it for the cold weather moving in. Wouldn't you know it...the SES light went out! I only added about 1/2 a pint of coolant. I cant find anything in the Nissan service manual about a coolant level sensor. Was this just a coincidence? Any comments are appreciated!

You can get your error codes scanned at most any auto parts store for free nowadays, ya know...

Yes I know but I figured I should buy one sooner or later anyway. I honestly didn't think adding a little coolant was going to turn the SES light out. Not sure if it's possible but maybe when I get the scan tool there will be a history of past codes. Regardless, I am happy the light is now off.
Thanks,
