2000 damaged wheel

i have a 2000 pathfinder and i recently destroyed my rear passenger rim. my buddie has a 04 pathfinder and is willing to sell me his stock rims and tires. will this work and fit my truck or bad idea? any help would be greatly appreciated

fits just fine. If he has the LE rims they will be 17's, SE has 16's.

does that mean that i can put any manufactures rims on my car as long is its the same bolt pattern> ie 6x139.7 0r 6x5.5

provided backspacing and center bore is the same, yes

what is backspacing and center bore and how do i find this out. i found a list of cars that have my wheel spec but will they all work?
